I’ve had this lace dress for a while. I was immediately drawn to it because its short with long sleeves but it’s taken me a while to actually wear it because it is completely see through. (Why, oh why do I keep buying un-wearable see through things!?) I ended up solving the problem with a nude tube dress and was very happy with the result.

The bracelet is one of my favorite pieces. The boy bought it for me early on in our relationship on a trip to LA. I think it’s 1940’s…. I could be wrong. Whenever it’s from I adore it! LA has great vintage finds. 

The lipstick I’m wearing is Lady Danger from MAC. It’s my new lip obsession. I saw it on Chloe Sevigny on the cover on British Elle and needed it in my life. It’s a very orangey red. Such a great cover.

This will be my last post from LA because we’re leaving to go back to London on Monday! I’m so excited! Last night we did the live taping of The Pink House. I was really nervous before we started but the second I got out there I relaxed because the the audience were  so lovely and made it lots of fun. I loved how the writers would come up with new jokes between takes and we would have to do the scene different every time. If the show gets picked up we’ll be doing that every week….

  15. I was just about to ask you what your lip color was, it's so stunning on you. Literally the perfect shade. I also love the way you do your hair, in that sort of wavy/unkempt look. How do you do it?

  16. Fashion Drift & Lainey- I use the flat iron to create loose waves. You twist the iron at an angle instead of just pulling it straight. Then I run my fingers through to mess it up a little. Voila!

    Anonymous- I never use lip liner, I always apply with a lip brush though.

    How do you have you hair, is is like weaves or extensions? I really want it done and I want it to look good if you know what I mean and yours certainly looks fab 🙂

    Chloé- I have hair that is just past my shoulders and when I want some extra glam I clip in some extensions. I find it really easy to just pop them in and out. The ones on the blog are a really good full head set from Head Kandy 🙂

    Allison- It's a new comedy for NCB called 'The Pink House'. I play Jamee who's biggest dream in life is to marry rich. She's hilarious!

  34. you look gorgeous! i found your pic on the aa site, lovely! the high neck and long sleeves are so flattering, i'm definitely considering getting this as all my going out dresses are black, i always worry drinks will be spilled on anything light! but the texture of the lace looks more easy to wear if anything happens, plus it's lovely with your skin tone and orangey lipstick! if you're in london, the swedish brand 'make up store' just opened on carnaby street and they make an amazing orange red called dare!
